While we waited for our take out they brought us complimentary soup to enjoy. Super friendly and one of the best chicken shawarma's we've ever had! (So was the baklava we had for dessert)

We stopped by Payam's for lunch after shopping at Lowland Gardens (which is just around the corner), and had an absolutely delicious meal! We had the Beef Shawarma Plate and the Lamb Skewers plate and they were both phenomenal! Both the lamb and the beef were perfectly cooked and seasoned and unbelievably juicy. The chef brought us freshly baked pita bread, hot out of the oven, which paired perfectly with the rest of the meal. The sides and sauces were very tasty and the pistachio baklava was tender and succulent. Located in the heart of Great Village, and only an 8 min drive from Masstown Market, this is a great place to have a casual and satisfying meal. Would highly recommend, 10/10!

Dropped in for early supper today, omg that lentil soup was so delicious. I want the recipe lol. Veggie pizza so good and my husband had chicken shawarm meal and he loved it. Hope to be back again next time we visit great village

The food was awesome. I had the pan fried haddock with salad, fries , vegetable and basmati rice. All the food was seasoned perfectly. Fish cooked perfectly . Basmati rice had six spices added to it one being a hint of mint . The salad was lightly tossed in a vinaigrette. My friend was vegan and had the falafel. She said they were excellent. Just accidental found this place on our travels through Nova Scotia. I highly recommend this place. I was an executive chef for fourteen years at Lionhead golf and country club in Ontario. I now teach hospitality at the secondary level. Got to go check it out people . Will not be disappointed. Hats off to the lady servers she was also A one.

Funky little place in the basement of a deconsecrated church. We had an excellent lunch here. The various wraps, beef plate and salad were all great. Complimentary soup as a starter was a great welcome. Very friendly service.

Visited Payam’s food corner today for lunch. Their lentil soup was a warm hug on a rainy day and the skewer plate was delicious! The Baklava was the best I’ve had so far. Would definitely recommend this cozy place for a meal!

Great place right beside antique shops. Food was delicious, done very well. We had the falafel and donair wraps. Both we super good. Service was great and they even gave us a little treat at the end. I would go again and again!
